Chief (Dr) Ebuka Onunkwo, also known as Eze Igbo, is a renowned industrialist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who has declared his interest to contest the Anambra South Senatorial Bye Election on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Early Life and Education

Born on December 3, 1970, in Ihembosi, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, Chief Onunkwo rose to prominence through hard work, perseverance, and self-discipline. He attended primary school in Ihembosi and secondary school in Ihiala, where he excelled academically and was outstanding in debating competitions.

Career and Business Ventures

Chief Onunkwo started his journey to prominence as an apprentice, just like the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. He later joined his nephew in Idiroko, Nigeria/Benin Republic border, to learn a trade in motor spare parts. His business expanded from spare parts to lubricant importation and eventually to manufacturing. Today, he is the Founder and CEO of Seahorse Lubricant Industries Limited, employing over 1000 people.

Chief Onunkwo is a dedicated philanthropist who has touched many lives and lifted many from poverty. His philanthropic efforts include:
