Twin Brothers Marry Twin Sisters With Matching Names

A pair of twin brothers is set to exchange vows with a pair of twin sisters in a rare double wedding ceremony taking place in Ibadan on Saturday, June 20.

Adding an unusual twist to the celebration, one of the brothers, Taiwo, is marrying a female twin also named Taiwo, while his twin brother, Kehinde, is tying the knot with another female twin named Kehinde.

The couples held their traditional engagement ceremony on Friday ahead of the white wedding scheduled for Saturday.

Sharing photos from the engagement on their joint Instagram page, the grooms, Oguntoye Kehinde Oladele and Oguntoye Taiwo Oye, expressed appreciation to God and everyone who joined them in celebrating the milestone.

“Twins wed twins!!! Yesterday’s traditional wedding was simply amazing! We are grateful to God and everyone who celebrated with us.

“Today is the grand finale as the most famous twins in African tourism say ‘I Do’!

All glory, honour, and adoration belong to God for making this day a reality,” they wrote.

In a separate post, the brothers reflected on the journey leading to the occasion, writing, “Engagement done and dusted! What started as a dream is now a testimony. Thankful for love, family, friends, and God’s endless grace. Here’s to forever!

Photos from Friday’s traditional wedding have since gone viral on social media, attracting congratulatory messages from friends, relatives and well-wishers, many of whom described the union as both unique and heartwarming.
