South African reality TV star Tsekeleke proved nothing could dampen his spirit as he went all out to celebrate his 40th birthday in style.

Though the Lose It or Lose Me star officially turned 40 on Saturday, 26 July 2025, the milestone came while he was admitted to hospital for undisclosed health complications.

Despite spending his actual birthday confined to a hospital room, Tsekeleke refused to let the moment pass uncelebrated.

Once discharged, he made sure to honour the occasion with a lavish and star-studded party that took place on Saturday, 2 August 2025.

The event drew notable guests, including Dr Malinga, his former manager, whose presence surprised many given their past fallout.

Tsekeleke had previously accused Malinga of mismanaging R100,000 raised in donations, but it seems time may have softened the tension.

Videos from the glamorous celebration quickly made their way onto social media, with one Facebook user, neosonto.remotholo, posting several clips that captured the lively atmosphere and heartwarming moments from the party.

Through it all, Tsekeleke reminded fans of his resilience and gratitude, celebrating not just his age, but the ability to rise again.
